About MediK9usa:

MEDIK9USA was started by veterinarian Paul Fedyniak in Chicago, IL in 2018. Our goal at MEDIK9USA is to provide canine specific equipment such as trauma kits to EMS, Police K9 handlers, and MWD handlers to allow them to safely work with injured K9s. In addition to donating the canine medical kits, MediK9USA sells them in our online store. This gives handlers and police departments have an affordable trauma kit option so that keeping their human and K9 officers safe at an affordable cost.

Click our DONATE tab or visit our STORE to help support our cause.

Click REQUEST A KIT if you are a handler or paramedic in need.

In addition to providing equipment, MEDIK9USA offers medical training for K9 handlers to properly stabilize their canine partners for transport to veterinary emergency care facilities. We hope to have online guides and tutorials for first-responders available soon.

On December 4th, 2019, MEDIK9USA became the official trauma kit of the Illinois State Police. Every single K9 handler working for the Illinois State Police received a MEDIK9USA Trauma Kit. Each year since, MEDIK9USA has provided additional trauma kits to their new K9 handlers.
